Quite enjoyed that.
I think they got it spot on, he can only play what he's got available, and Carroll's injury probably forced him to make changes.

I hear ya, buddy.
I still think he'll be an asset for us, after all, he was on standby for the World Cup squad, so he can't be a total mug?

Am I imagining this or did lawro do a view from the opposition on here quite a few years ago and he came across as alright?
If this is nonsense then it was one hell of a weird dream..

Enjoyed that.
Variety of opinions, which (shockingly) might all have an element of truth to them.

Wrighty (as in Ian) is the only pundit I have heard so far say that we could maintain our current league position (if we don't suffer too badly from injuries etc...)
No one else seems to give us a chance.... they will all be changing their tune soon enough!
Takes another sip....

I thought it was all fair comment tbh.
Problem for me last season was not the style of play as much as the fact it wasn't working for huge chunks of the season.
We'd added quality and they have turned out well. One of our forward signings could easily have gone the way of Maiga, who looked like a great prospect - but for once things appear to have gone right.

70/30 sounds too much but they definitely had the majority of possession especially the last 15 or so minutes
